Ch 3 depository participant

Sir who is issuer ,is it the listed company who issues the share? What is difference between depository participants and stock broker. How the prices on stock market are decided?for example if today reliance share is trading at2435, how this price is decided

1. Yes. Issuer is the company who issues the shares. 2. A depository participant functions as the link between an investor and the depository, whereas the stock broker is the link between the investor and the stock exchange. A Depository Participant is the depository's agent providing Demat accounts to investors. Whereas, the stock broker is connected to the stock exchange, which serves as a marketplace for investors to purchase and sell stocks. 3. Once a company goes public and its shares start trading on a stock exchange, its share price is determined by supply and demand in the market. If there is a high demand for its shares, the price will increase.
