Anchor investors

Sir in public issue we have to reserve 75%minimum or 50% maximum for QIB as the case may be, and 5% to mutual fund out of the QIB portion, Then 60% of QIB portion should be reserved for anchor investors Sir my question is whether we have to deduct the 5% of mutual fund reservation from the QIB portion then allot 60% to anchor investors????

No, you do NOT deduct the 5% Mutual Fund reservation first before calculating the 60% Anchor Investor allocation. Under Regulation 32 of the SEBI (ICDR) Regulations, 2018, the 60% maximum limit for Anchor Investors is calculated directly on the total QIB Portion. The 5% Mutual Fund reservation is applied to the remaining QIB portion (Net QIB Portion) that is available to the general public during the main bidding window.
