Can a B.com graduate person conduct Internal Audit and if yes does he has singing authority of the internal audit report?
A B.Com graduate can work as an internal auditor, especially if they have relevant training and experience in auditing, accounting, or finance. However, many organizations prefer hiring individuals with additional qualifications, such as certifications in internal auditing (e.g., CIA - Certified Internal Auditor) or accounting (e.g., CA - Chartered Accountant, CMA - Cost Management Accountant), as these certifications provide specialized knowledge and skills for conducting audits. Signing authority generally depends on the organization's policies and the level of responsibility entrusted to the individual performing the audit. Typically, internal audit reports are signed by the Chief Internal Auditor (CIA) or the Head of Internal Audit.
